Whole lotta shak'n go'n on!

On accident I came accross Joan Gomberg: an earthquake seismologist employed by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and is stationed at the joint USGS-CERI faculty. She is also an adjunct associate faculty professor, working closely with CERI students and faculty. Dr. Gomberg works as a network seismologist, and has supervised the design and operation of local and regional seismic monitoring networks in the western U.S. and Mexico.

Rock on- a Doctor in the family! She went to MIT and University of California at San Diego! Sweet.
Plus this explains why I got all "A's" in geology in college. Gombergs know their dirt.
Literally.
